don't even joke about thirty hues. it took me months to get manabu to the point where we can kiss without him getting flustered but if the ad for those movies comes on he goes red and we're back to square one. i love him too much to expose him to that crap anyway.

i've never done drugs but i'm pretty sure my addiction to pumpkin spice things is close enough. if i end up in prison in october it'll be for swiping pumpkin spice or maybe even entire pumpkins from somewhere.

I took a few of my friends there once because I thought it would be fun to make fun of it. I still regret it, it didn't have any redeeming qualities at all.

I broke into someone's house once. I think I can help you swipe some pumpkin spice somewhere. [Veronica NO.] Or just buy as much pumpkin spice-flavored anything as I can squeeze into my budget.

i tried making a drinking game out of it. still wasn't funny.

my boyfriend is a cop, i should probably lay off stealing things at least a little. he understands i didn't exactly grow up with a lot of money, but he's not thrilled with my swiping things. he's older than me so he's got this whole 'i can take care of that for you' thing. like we're a married couple or something.

He sounds like a good guy, though, otherwise. More competent than other cops if he passed your standards. [Nothing like JD, she thinks. He doesn't sound like a cool and collected trenchcoat-wearing badass, doesn't sound like someone unhinged who would go on a murder spree.] You've got to keep him.

more careful where. and i reserve the right to cancel if he and i have something romantic planned. we have the dorkiest dates, i love it. last time we went to an arts and crafts festival.

[It doesn't get much dorkier than that.] he is. both a good guy and the most competent cop i know, although the bar was set really low back home for that kinda thing. he's a sweetheart and i hate that word but it works in his case.

if anything bad happens it'll probably be because of me, but i'll let you know either way.

Got it. And that is so ridiculously adorable I'm kind of surprised I'm not vomiting rainbows right now. Have you gone to Disneyland yet, because I feel like that'd just be the epitome of adorably dorky dates.

i'm, um, no lie i'm planning on surprising him with tickets to disney world for christmas. just him and me and somewhere good and happy, for the holiday i usually hate the most. it'd be nice.

he'd probably like to meet some of my friends. outside of the baby quoll we kind of adopted together, i mean. and our dog.

i'm not that bad HERE. i was a one-man trainwreck back home. i don't really deserve to be this happy, and i keep waiting for something to bring it all toppling down. i definitely don't deserve the boyfriend i have. it's kind of fucked up, isn't it? that my girlfriend back home died just before i got here, and now i'm with somebody else like she didn't mean a thing?
