Not sure if this is the greatest time to be asking him about wedding plans anyway. He's, uh, he's kinda in a spot, right now. Even I've got more tact than that.

You gonna get better fences? So nobody can pull any shit with the rabbits again, I mean. Shoulda suggested that when you got 'em but I managed to overlook that obvious security flaw.

Well, I'm gonna see if Red wants to hang out so they might have a literal dragon guardin' them sometimes. Other than that, there's a spot near the back door where Mightyena's bed'll be so he'll probably spot anything that happens. Motion sensin' lights, too.

...Not to mention Crobat'll be hanging around at night. He could literally kill anyone who tries it. Didn't before because of course that was the one night I didn't let him out his ball.

I could've suggested an indoor place for 'em and avoided all this. If I was more on the ball, they'd've never been taken.

I'm Californian, we've perfected the art of keeping animals inside. I should have suggested we convert the spare room to be the bunny room, day one.

Naw, I think they like yours better. Rabbits ain't like dogs, but for sure their lil' floppy ears perk up when you call out Romeo an' Yorrik.

[at the second comment, he frowns.]

To be honest, I wouldn't have let you, probably. I'm too used to animals bein' allowed free reign outside. I was only plannin' to bring 'em in when it started getting colder.

They just like my voice because they know that means they're about to get to hide in my jacket.

I wasn't gonna say we should put them inside at all times. Just at night.

I mean, I'll probably take 'em with me but you're welcome to come and see them anytime if ya don't decide to stay.

There are coyotes back in California, so people put their pets inside at night so they won't get killed. Even some dogs can't fight them off, so, y'know. Better safe than sorry. And since you'll be out in the countryside you may have feral dogs to worry about now. Hope Mightyena's fast.

I demand Skype calls with both rabbits, for Scarlet's sake. They both really like grooming her. I think they think she's a baby rabbit.

His ability is Quick Feet, so yeah. Also, he can shoot beams of shadow energy out his mouth. I'm sure he's fine.

Anytime, bro. Even at night if she gets lonely.

Good. I just - I wanna make sure Romeo and Yorrick are safe, you know? They've been through enough.

At night she tends to wanna be held. In the wild, quolls get groomed by their mom at night. Scout's been doing that duty for the most part; he's pretty good at playing guard dog.

Well, that's good. Maybe Mightyena is worried he's too big and doesn't want to hurt her.

That'd make sense. I worry about hurting her sometimes. She's pretty small, after all. But the vet said she's putting on enough weight we should expect a growth spurt, soon.

Maybe I should ask the vet if it's healthier for Scarlet to live in the countryside. I don't really know animals much.
